‘Ahoy there’ to all of our JackSpeak friends and family, from the Port of Dartmouth.
What a rollercoaster of a year 2020 has been, the team have been up and down more times than an ensign on a ship, so it has been lovely to see lots of you visiting our store in Dartmouth whilst you have been able to. We hope you are enjoying your purchases, perhaps with a tot of our JackSpeak Rum in hand – not that we can possibly condone drinking until the sun is over the yard arm!
England is now well into our second lockdown, which meant, sadly, we had to shut up shop last week until the 2 December. But remember we are very much open online and we will be offering a Click & Collect service from our Dartmouth store for those that would like it.
NEW WEBSITE
In other news we’ve been very busy indeed, working on new collaborations of course, but mainly on our shiny new website. The cogs have been in full flow: with much thinking, discussion, photo shoots and research around how we could deliver the best website for our customers. Launching this week, it is easy to navigate, crisp and clear and generally ship shape and Bristol fashion. We are very pleased with it and really hope it will improve your online experience with us. These are difficult times for all. We will all struggle with lack of contact with our nearest and dearest, but with our strong sense of ‘Britishness’ we know we will pull through and come out the other side. It is what we do best. You can make a massive difference by following the guidelines, and by shopping locally, supporting local businesses, wherever you can.
